About the Wholesales Specialist Role

Alfanar Electric is seeking a Wholesales Specialist to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to achieving targeted sales plans for distributors, managing their accounts, and overseeing sales, delivery, collection, and credit management. The role ensures compliance with applicable regulations and controls while fostering strong business relationships and protecting distributor interests within the wholesale market.

Key Sales and Relationship Management

  • Achieve targeted sales plans for each assigned distributor.
  • Manage distributor accounts comprehensively, including sales, delivery logistics, collection processes, and credit management, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, loyal relationships with distributors, acting as Alfanar's representative to protect their rights and ensure business continuity.
  • Conduct regular interactions with distributors to gather feedback and understand evolving needs.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing distributor accounts to drive business growth.
  • Research market trends and customer preferences to uncover potential sales opportunities.

Operational Support and Performance Monitoring

  • Address distributor concerns and resolve issues promptly to maintain positive relationships.
  • Communicate distributor requirements and challenges effectively to internal teams for timely resolution.
  • Monitor service delivery to ensure distributor satisfaction and fulfillment of commitments.
  • Track sales activities and distributor engagement metrics, preparing and sharing performance summaries with sales teams and management.
  • Maintain accurate records of all distributor interactions and sales activities within the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customer service, product, and marketing, to meet distributor needs and support continuous improvement.
  • Assist in coordinating efforts to implement distributor-specific requirements or initiatives.

Professional Development and Process Adherence

  • Continuously acquire updated soft and technical skills relevant to the role.
  • Perform planned activities to meet operational and development targets according to schedules, utilizing resources effectively within cost and time parameters.
  • Provide periodic reports detailing deviations and execution of planned tasks.
  • Solve arising problems and escalate complex operational issues as needed.
  • Ensure quality requirements are met, developing effective quality control processes and specifications for products or related activities.
  • Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, seeking automation opportunities where possible.
  • Comply with all related company policies, procedures, and work instructions.

Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance

The specialist is responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within their defined area of work activity. This ensures safety, legislative compliance, and the delivery of high-quality products and services.

Required Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience.
