About the Role

A Confidential Government entity in Riyadh is seeking a seasoned professional to lead its Budget Planning and Preparation department. This full-time position requires a candidate with over 10 years of experience in finance, ready to take on significant responsibilities in financial planning and management.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of the annual budget, including review and follow-up on long and medium-term financial plans.
• Develop the annual budget in alignment with the approved financial framework, contracts, and internal audit requirements.
• Collect and evaluate financial data, forecast future financial operations, and ensure financial sustainability in decision-making processes.
• Manage the measurement of the organization's performance regarding operational efficiency and financial effectiveness.
• Propose and discuss initiatives aimed at achieving financial sustainability.
• Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of the budget.
• Provide support to the financial department in developing and implementing the financial plan for the upcoming year across all branches and programs.
• Utilize technical programs for budget preparation and related financial operations.
• Manage the budget process by collaborating with relevant management teams and analyzing their requests.
• Support budget programs by identifying and securing necessary resources.
• Adhere to organizational discipline, work ethics, cybersecurity protocols, and unit procedures.
• Undertake any other tasks assigned by direct superiors.

Required Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related financial field.
• A Master's degree in Finance or a related financial field is preferred.

Experience Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in the finance field.
• A total of +10 years of experience is required for this role.
