An exciting opportunity has opened up for skilled Irrigation Engineers who are eager to lead innovative irrigation projects in Saudi Arabia. As part of our dynamic team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and managing effective irrigation systems that align with environmental standards and project specifications.

Responsibilities:

Conduct site assessments and surveys to determine irrigation requirements, soil characteristics, and water sources.
Develop irrigation plans and designs, including layout, pipe sizing, hydraulic calculations, and water distribution methods.
Prepare detailed technical specifications, drawings, and documentation for irrigation systems.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate irrigation designs with overall project plans.
Select appropriate irrigation materials based on project specifications and budget constraints.
Supervise the installation, construction, and testing of irrigation systems.
Monitor contractor performance and resolve technical issues.
Provide guidance and training to end-users and operators on irrigation system operation.
Implement water management strategies to optimize water use efficiency.
Ensure compliance with local regulations and environmental protection standards.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agricultural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in irrigation engineering.
Proficiency in irrigation design software and tools.
Strong knowledge of irrigation principles and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Commitment to sustainable water management practices.
Professional certifications in irrigation engineering are advantageous.
Experience in diverse projects involving water resource management.
Familiarity with emerging technologies in irrigation.

Master’s Degree in a related discipline with over 5 years of relevant experience.
Strong knowledge of irrigation design, hydraulics, and water management systems.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydraulic modeling tools.
Familiarity with smart irrigation technologies and environmental sustainability practices.
Excellent problem-solving and project coordination skills.
Strong communication and technical reporting skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Knowledge of relevant standards such as FAO, ASABE, or local municipal codes.
