Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise preventive, corrective, and major overhauling maintenance on mechanical systems, including turbines, pumps, compressors, valves, and piping.
- Ensure maintenance is conducted efficiently and aligned with OEM recommendations, project standards, and HSE requirements.
- Troubleshoot mechanical failures and provide technical direction to minimize downtime.
- Review maintenance data to identify performance trends and improvement opportunities.
- Lead outage planning and execution, ensuring resources are effectively utilized.
- Prepare feasibility studies, cost estimates, and technical evaluations for modifications and installations.
- Manage documentation and maintenance records in SAP CMMS to ensure data accuracy.
- Coordinate with EPC/OEM contractors for technical clarifications.
- Support the development of condition-based maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mentor technicians and junior engineers to enhance technical capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 7–10 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance in power generation or desalination plants, with a focus on CCGT facilities.
- Strong background in predictive/preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Proficient with SAP CMMS and maintenance management systems.
- Solid understanding of HSE standards and maintenance planning.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and coordination skills; fluency in English is required, Arabic is a plus.
