Position Overview:
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will manage all engineering and maintenance operations in the Sheraton Jeddah Hotel. This role includes ensuring the upkeep of the physical plant, maintaining safety and security, managing budgets, overseeing energy conservation initiatives, and maintaining regulatory compliance. You will also lead the emergency response team for all facility-related issues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and operate the physical plant including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with facility regulations and safety standards.
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs and develop long-term plans for asset protection.
• Handle service contracts and manage capital projects efficiently.
• Conduct inspections to ensure buildings and grounds are well maintained.
• Build positive relationships with external customers and vendors.
Candidate Profile:
• High school diploma or GED with at least 3 years of experience in engineering and maintenance, or a 2-year degree in a related field with 1 year of experience.
• Technical training in HVAC-R, electrical, or plumbing is required.
