Join Jumeirah as a Mechanical Technician!
At Jumeirah, a leader in luxury hospitality and member of Dubai Holding, we are dedicated to providing exceptional experiences for our guests. We are currently seeking a Mechanical Technician to join our Engineering team in Jumeirah The Red Sea.

Main Responsibilities:

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems, including HVAC, chilled water, exhaust, and ventilation.
Inspect and repair mechanical faults in pumps, motors, valves, compressors, and other rotating equipment.
Maintain the safety and proper condition of all Plant and Work areas.
Ensure compliance with JEMS and safety standards.
Service heating, cooling, and air-handling units for optimal climate control.
Monitor system parameters for performance and energy efficiency.

Qualifications:

Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering / HVAC Technology or a related field.
Minimum grade 10 education and a strong moral background.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Strong problem-solving skills.
1+ years of experience in a technical role.

Job Purpose:
This role is essential for applying basic mechanical skills to support maintenance and installation tasks while ensuring compliance with safety standards and contributing to initiatives that enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Apply basic mechanical skills to assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of systems under supervision.
Conduct routine inspections of mechanical systems, identifying potential issues and reporting findings to senior staff.
Diagnose mechanical problems using standard diagnostic tools, executing basic repairs under guidance.
Set up new mechanical equipment following instructions to ensure proper installation.
Maintain records of maintenance activities, inspections, and equipment status, ensuring documentation is current.
Adhere to safety protocols while performing mechanical work, fostering a safe work environment.
Engage in continuous improvement projects by providing input and participating in basic initiatives.

Education:
Technical High School or a Diploma in Facilities Engineering or a related field.

Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
