As a Butler at Fairmont, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional service experience. Our Makkah Clock Royal Tower hotel, positioned near the magnificent Masjid Al Haraam and the Holy Ka’aba, offers a unique opportunity to engage with a diverse clientele within an esteemed environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver prompt and courteous service to all guests.
• Maintain cleanliness of all butler areas including guest rooms, pantries, and equipment.
• Monitor perishables and ensure optimum usage of resources.
• Coordinate closely with the Private Dining team to cater to guests’ preferences.
• Maintain a high standard of appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Practice tactful upselling of hotel amenities.
• Ensure proper communication with the team and Resident Service Manager.
• Manage inventory of supplies and report needs to the Supervisor.
• Attend daily briefings and communicate guest information effectively.
• Respect guest privacy at all times and manage any lost items accordingly.

Qualifications:

• Proven organizational skills.
• Strong guest engagement abilities.
• Experience managing a multicultural workforce.
• High integrity and enthusiasm for continuous improvement.
• Good knowledge of housekeeping operations.
• A self-starter attitude with mentoring capabilities.
• Knowledge of Opera Property Management System is preferred.
• Post-secondary education and at least 3 years of experience in a luxury hotel setting.
