The Role
As a Waitress, your role is to serve the needs of the business, our guests and our colleagues by prompt and courteous service delivery to all guests, as a Hospitality Ambassador for the hotel.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

• Collaborate with colleagues from various departments to guarantee prompt service and efficient operations.
• Understand and adhere to all hotel policies and Standard Operating Procedures related to guest service, operation management, and personal grooming and discipline.
• Be knowledgeable about the hotel's services and facilities to address any guest inquiries effectively.
• Ensure a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols.
• Develop a thorough understanding and have complete knowledge of the menus.
• Actively participate in all training sessions to enhance professional skills and improve guest satisfaction.

About the Job:
A Waiter/Waitress at Hilton is responsible for providing guests with food and beverages in an efficient manner while adhering to proper procedures and company standards. This role is essential in delivering an exceptional hospitality experience through excellent customer service and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

• Manage an efficiently operated service shift according to agreed standards and regulations.
• Use every opportunity to gain knowledge in all areas of service operations.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to all tables.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and the outlet according to health and safety standards.
• Demonstrate full knowledge of all food and beverage menus and provide explanations and recommendations to guests.
• Comply with company health, safety, and fire regulations and procedures.
• Adhere to company disciplinary policies when necessary.
• Maximize revenue and guest satisfaction through upselling and delivering excellent customer service.
• Meet or exceed monthly sales and performance targets.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous customer service experience, preferably at a supervisory level or above.
• Friendly personality with a professional appearance.
• Strong ability to listen and respond courteously to guest needs.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure with a high level of accountability and attention to detail.
• Passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in hospitality or beverage service roles.
