About the Role

شركة أضواء الخليل للمقاولات is seeking an Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Engineer for a full-time position in Abha, Assir. This role is suitable for individuals with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on developing and implementing safety standards at work sites.

Core Responsibilities

The OSH Engineer will be responsible for establishing and enforcing occupational safety and health protocols. This includes identifying potential hazards, developing preventative measures, and ensuring the availability and proper use of safety equipment and supplies. The role also involves preparing comprehensive documentation and reports related to safety performance and project progress.

Key Duties and Implementation

• Develop and implement occupational safety and health foundations, rules, and procedures at the work site.
• Identify occupational hazards in work locations and develop procedures to mitigate them.
• Provide occupational safety and health supplies and tools, and monitor their effective use.
• Prepare specialized documents and reports on work results and safety performance.

Safety Program Development

• Prepare and develop occupational safety and health foundations, procedures, and instructions, including safety policies, safe work instructions, evacuation plans, safety committee guidelines, safety records, and medical examination protocols. Monitor their approval and adherence.
• Identify mechanical, electrical, and chemical hazards within the work site and ensure appropriate warning signs and labels are in place.
• Prepare lists of required occupational safety and health equipment and supplies, including quantities and specifications, and follow up on their provision. Ensure workers adhere to their use.
• Develop work methods and procedures, staying current with technical advancements.
• Prepare specialized documents and reports related to engineering works and projects, detailing progress rates, presenting findings, and saving them according to approved policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

This role requires an Occupational Safety and Health Engineer with 0 to 1 year of relevant experience. The candidate should be capable of developing and implementing safety standards and procedures effectively within a construction environment.
