About the Role

Alghad College for Applied Medical Sciences is seeking a Physicist to join its team in Abha, 'Asir region. This is a full-time position within a leading educational institution in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia dedicated to meeting the demand for qualified professionals in applied medical fields. The college offers Bachelor's programs and holds accreditation from the Ministry of Education.

Responsibilities

The Physicist will be responsible for contributing to the college's vision and goals, and participating in the development and implementation of college programs. Key duties include:

• Following up on students' academic and professional achievements.
• Participating in college activities and maintaining order within the institution.
• Ensuring student commitment to requirements and preparing reports for departmental approval.
• Undertaking administrative and academic tasks as assigned, beyond prescribed teaching duties.
• Fostering a competitive spirit among students and encouraging innovation and creativity.
• Adhering to the contract and following the academic and procedural schedule, including daily training.
• Achieving academic and professional skills aligned with the academic and procedural plan.
• Submitting weekly reports to the department head for approval, providing a copy to the department head.
• Attending training sessions and daily meetings with the department head, college dean, and other physicists.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Physics.
• Possess academic experience of no less than two years in the field of specialization.
• Hold the required academic degree for the program from Saudi or accredited universities (equivalency certificates from the Ministry of Education must be submitted if applicable).
• Demonstrate excellence in performance as a lecturer and teaching staff member.
• Possess a distinguished Bachelor's degree.
• Agree to adhere to the college's attendance system for all programs.
• Pass a personal interview.

Work Details

This is a full-time position. The contract is for one year. Working hours are 48 hours per week. The job location is Alghad College for Applied Medical Sciences in Abha.
