About the Role

ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Al-Jubail is seeking a dedicated Accountant, Accounts Receivables to join our team in Al Jubail, Eastern Region. This is a full-time position critical to maintaining the financial health and operational efficiency of the company by ensuring accurate and timely management of sales transactions and the accounts receivable cycle.

Role Summary

The Accountant, Accounts Receivables is responsible for the comprehensive management of the company's accounts receivable cycle. This involves processing, tracking, and meticulously recording sales transactions to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness. Key functions include customer invoicing, payment processing, and diligent collection efforts to support the company's financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all Accounts Receivable transactions, including the issuance of invoices and the reconciliation of customer statements.
• Oversee accounts receivable records to ensure aging remains current, credits and collections are accurately applied, uncollectible amounts are properly accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are reconciled.
• Conduct customer visits as required to support collection efforts and fulfill customer requirements.
• Prepare analytical reports and ratio analyses related to accounts receivable to provide management with insights into collection progress.
• Maintain files and documentation with meticulous accuracy, adhering to company policy and accepted accounting practices.
• Create, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.
• Address any ad hoc matters as directed by superiors.
• Manage and initiate accounts closure procedures in coordination with other sections to ensure timely account finalization.
• Follow and implement procedures to eliminate errors and ensure accurate postings to the correct General Ledger accounts.
• Prepare weekly reports encompassing all accounts receivable-related activities.
• Ensure timely follow-up on all collection efforts.

Required Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in an accounting or finance-related role, preferably with a focus on accounts receivables.

Essential Skills and Attributes

Candidates for this role should possess strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail to manage records and documentation accurately. The ability to prepare analytical reports and reconcile accounts is essential. Effective communication skills are also important for customer interactions and internal coordination.
