The Role of Chef de Partie

As a full-time Chef de Partie based in Al Jubail, you will be responsible for the precise preparation and cooking of various food items. This includes managing oven, broiler, grill, and roaster temperatures, overseeing food thawing, and ensuring proper portioning, arrangement, and garnishing. You will maintain accurate food logs, monitor food quality and quantity, and communicate effectively with the kitchen team and Food & Beverage service staff regarding menu specials and out-of-stock items.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food in adherence to established recipes, quality standards, presentation guidelines, and food preparation checklists.
• Execute the preparation of cold food items.
• Support management in various human resources functions, including hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, discipline, motivation, and coaching of employees, serving as a role model.
• Comply with all company, safety, and security policies and procedures; report maintenance requirements, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management; complete all mandatory safety training and certifications.
• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance; uphold the confidentiality of proprietary information; and safeguard company assets.
• Anticipate and address guests’ service needs, communicating clearly and professionally.
• Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships, contribute to team goals, and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
• Ensure strict adherence to all quality expectations and standards.
• Perform additional reasonable job duties as assigned by Supervisors.

Qualifications and Physical Demands

• Education: A Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree is required.
• Experience: Candidates must possess at least 3 years of related work experience. Supervisory experience is not required for this position.
• Physical Requirements: The role demands the ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. It also requires the capability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Candidates must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
