About the Role

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is seeking a dedicated Chef de Partie to join our culinary team in Dammam. This full-time position requires a professional with 2-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook dishes according to established recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and checklists.
  • Manage food records and monitor the quality and quantity of prepared food.
  • Utilize special foods and substitute products as needed.
  • Adjust oven, broiler, grill, and roaster temperatures as required.
  • Remove food items from freezer and refrigerator and defrost them.
  • Portion, arrange, and garnish food plates.
  • Provide necessary support during busy periods.
  • Communicate leftover ingredients to the chef and ensure their use in daily menus.
  • Communicate special menus and cut menus to the food service staff.
  • Ensure the quality of all ingredients used.
  • Prepare cold food items.

Team and Operational Support

  • Coach and mentor culinary staff.
  • Ensure all company safety and security policies and procedures are followed.
  • Report all workplace incidents, accidents, or hazardous conditions to management.
  • Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
  • Anticipate guest service needs and respond promptly and professionally.
  • Listen to and respond appropriately to concerns raised by other employees.
  • Ensure quality and standards are consistently met.

Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to stand, sit, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and stretch. It also involves moving, lifting, carrying, handling, pushing, pulling, and loading/unloading items weighing up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Technical, trade, or vocational school degree.
  • A minimum of 3 years of related work experience.
  • No supervisory experience is required for this role.
  • No specific license or certification is mandated.

Additional Duties

Perform other duties as requested by supervisors or management.
