Job Description

About the Role

Abdullah A. Al-Barrak & Son Co. is seeking a QA/QC Supervisor to oversee daily quality control activities across all site disciplines in Al Jubayl, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves supervising QC Inspectors, coordinating inspection and test plan execution, and ensuring the consistent application of quality standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of QC Inspectors across all disciplines.
  • Ensure inspections, tests, and hold points are executed according to approved Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
  • Review daily QC inspection reports and ensure timely and accurate documentation.
  • Coordinate hold point notifications and inspection scheduling with client and third-party inspectors.
  • Support the QC Manager in managing the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) process and corrective actions.
  • Conduct quality walkdowns and spot-check inspections across active work fronts.
  • Verify calibration and control of inspection and test equipment used by the QC team.
  • Coordinate training and technical guidance for QC Inspectors on inspection procedures and standards.
  • Liaise with construction supervision to resolve quality-related work front issues.
  • Support preparation and compilation of quality documentation for handover dossiers.
  • Report quality performance, trends, and issues to the QC Manager.
  • Support internal quality audits and readiness for client/third-party audits.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this position should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in quality assurance and quality control supervision.

Performance Indicators

Performance will be evaluated based on key metrics including:

  • Number and severity of non-conformances (NCRs).
  • Inspection schedule and hold point compliance.
  • First-time inspection pass rate across disciplines.
  • Timely closure of NCRs and punch-list items.
  • Quality of QC team documentation and reporting.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia, within a dynamic project environment.
