The Role of Senior Industrial Hygienist

SGS is seeking a Senior Industrial Hygienist to lead and support industrial hygiene programs across various projects in Al Jubail, Eastern Region, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires a technically strong professional with hands-on field experience capable of managing complex occupational health risks within industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute industrial hygiene assessments, including exposure monitoring and risk evaluations.
• Conduct workplace assessments for chemical, physical, and biological hazards.
• Design and implement monitoring programs for airborne contaminants, noise, heat stress, and vibration.
• Interpret data, perform exposure assessments, and develop control strategies.
• Prepare and review technical reports in line with regulatory and international standards (*, ACGIH, OSHA, ISO).
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior staff and field teams.
• Ensure the calibration, maintenance, and proper use of industrial hygiene monitoring equipment.
• Support HSE programs, audits, and compliance requirements.
• Liaise with clients to provide practical recommendations and solutions.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in industrial hygiene.
• Demonstrated technical strength and hands-on field experience in industrial environments.
• Proficiency in conducting comprehensive industrial hygiene assessments and managing occupational health risks.
• Familiarity with regulatory and international standards such as ACGIH, OSHA, and ISO.
