Site Manager JIGH

About the Role

Air Products is seeking a Site Manager JIGH to oversee operations in Al Jubail, Eastern Region. This full-time role involves managing a site team and a facility housing an Air Separation Plant, Hydrogen Steam Methane Reformer, CO2 unit, compression systems, a Steam Turbine Generator, and all associated ancillary and utility equipment, including a merchant facility and pipeline network.

Key Responsibilities

The Site Manager reports to the Operation Line Manager and is responsible for supervising operations and maintenance staff, including the Assistant Site Manager, Shift Supervisors, Operators, and the maintenance team. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing day-to-day operations and ensuring daily operational targets are achieved.
• Interfacing with Maintenance and Engineering teams to ensure safe and reliable site operation.
• Leading customer production meetings.
• Providing and maintaining a safe work environment, demonstrating leadership in company and industry safe work processes.
• Adhering to company HSSE policy and procedures, and ensuring all Environmental Regulatory requirements are met.
• Driving a risk-based decision culture for effective safety control.
• Providing technical direction and guidance for troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and testing activities.
• Managing plant production efficiently based on data-driven decisions to meet safety, reliability, and profitability targets.
• Ensuring the safety of all operations and maintenance personnel through established safety programs.
• Overseeing the correct execution of maintenance notifications in SAP and participating in pre-work visits with Maintenance and Contractors.
• Participating in preparing maintenance or process shutdowns and turnarounds.
• Managing and organizing regular equipment testing and routine preventive maintenance.
• Releasing and ensuring all work permit precautions and required conditions are fulfilled.
• Providing coaching and motivation to the operations team to achieve operational excellence.
• Developing and training top-performing operation personnel.
• Leading incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis, implementing sustainable corrective actions.
• Acting as the Single Point of Contact for internal facility issues, coordinating internal resources.

Technical and Operational Support

The role involves comprehensive technical and operational support to ensure optimal plant performance and compliance with standards. This includes maintaining accurate document control, monitoring quality assurance initiatives, and providing guidance for equipment maintainability and reliability. The Site Manager will also contribute to achieving routine maintenance KPIs and objectives related to reliability, planning, and scheduling.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess a strong background in managing complex industrial facilities and teams. Required experience for this role is 5-10 years in a relevant capacity.

This is a full-time position based in Al Jubail, Eastern Region. The role requires establishing and maintaining close working relationships with engineering and maintenance personnel and fostering a site culture that promotes teamwork and a high-performing organization.
