Static Technician II

About the Role

KBR Saudi Arabia is seeking a Static Technician II to join their team in Al Jubail. This full-time role focuses on the maintenance of static equipment and piping systems, ensuring they remain in optimal condition. The technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various static equipment and process piping systems within an Oil & Gas environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and execute job instructions, drawings, and specifications provided by the Supervisor.
• Lead and guide a team of Technicians in daily operations.
• Utilize appropriate tools and equipment, including specialized heavy-duty tools from the Central tool room.
• Operate basic machine tools such as grinders, power saws, drill presses, and threading machines.
• Perform all installation and maintenance tasks in strict adherence to SATORP procedures and guidelines.
• Conduct necessary testing, including Hydro and Pneumatic tests.
• Obtain all required work permits before commencing any work.
• Maintain rigorous compliance with SATORP safety standards and procedures.
• Consult with the Supervisor for resolution of any technical issues encountered.
• Ensure good housekeeping practices are maintained during and after job completion.
• Achieve job completion targets for quality and schedule in line with company standards.
• Comply with all Safety, Health, and Environment standards and procedures.
• Report all near misses, unsafe conditions, and acts promptly.
• Attend scheduled Safety and Technical training sessions.

Qualifications and Experience

• A High School Diploma in Engineering or an equivalent qualification is required.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in Oil & Gas maintenance for High School Diploma holders.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Oil & Gas maintenance for Diploma holders.
• Hold a valid certification issued by a recognized third-party certification body or an accredited Saudi institute, confirming qualifications and competency for the role.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Al Jubail, requiring dedicated on-site presence to manage and execute maintenance activities for static equipment and piping systems.
