Join our team as a Patient Care Technician!
We are looking for dedicated individuals to provide essential support to our nursing staff, assisting with both direct and indirect patient care within the designated areas. As a Patient Care Technician (PCT), you will play a vital role in ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Job Purpose / Objective:
To assist nursing staff with patient care and act as a coordinator between physicians and patients/families.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
  • Ensure clinic cleanliness and readiness of supplies daily.
  • Assist physicians in patient examinations and prepare necessary equipment.
  • Organize clinic activities and patient flow.
  • Complete necessary documents efficiently and accurately.
  • Track patient status and assist with labs and radiology.
  • Answer phone calls and visitor inquiries courteously.
  • Adhere to patient safety standards set by JCIA/CBAHI.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy.
  • Initiate emergency measures when necessary.
  • Provide necessary patient/family education.
  • Maintain required competency and licensing as per MOH regulations.
  • Perform nursing procedures such as checking vital signs and ECG pain assessments.
  • Attend educational activities and meetings.
  • Participate in person-centered care initiatives.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science.
  • Completion of a PCT Program.
  • Preferably some experience in healthcare; fresh graduates with interest are accepted.
  • Valid Saudi Council registration and BLS certification.

  • Inspect food service department and ensure regular and modified/therapeutic diets are being accurately served and CBAHI and HACCP standards are followed by food service employees as per policies and procedures.
  • Participate in person-centered care initiatives undertaken by HMG.
  • Enrich patient experience with compassion, respect, and dignity.
  • Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Requirements:
Education/Professional Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Nutrition or Nutrition and Dietetics.

Experience:
Two (2) years’ experience in planning regular and therapeutic diets in an accredited hospital of 200 beds or more.
