Area Sales Manager Role

Evostel is seeking an Area Sales Manager to join its team in Al Khobar, Eastern region. This full-time position requires over 10 years of experience. The primary purpose of this role is to manage and lead a sales team, ensuring effective communication of company goals, safety practices, and deadlines. The Area Sales Manager will also lead business development for partners and support the entire organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure proper implementation and control of group policies and procedures, including those related to Sales and General Management, Safety, Health, and Environment.
• Manage the sales team to achieve Business Unit (BU) targets, setting clear work plans and individual development goals.
• Establish review procedures for pre-sales and after-sales activities to enhance customer satisfaction and recommend improvements.
• Lead direct sales efforts, conduct regular sales staff meetings, and implement a performance culture within the BU.
• Oversee market development and brand building for existing products/services, identifying opportunities for new product/brand additions.
• Identify and analyze client needs, building long-term relationships with potential and existing clients, as well as internal and external stakeholders.
• Act as a relationship manager for business partners/suppliers, supporting the Business Development team and ensuring legal documentation is maintained.
• Perform annual Product Gap analysis to identify new products/partners and plan engagement sessions with the team and customers.
• Lead the achievement of financial and non-financial targets for business partners.
• Identify areas for team member improvement, provide coaching, and recommend training to address skill gaps.

Team Leadership and Performance

The Area Sales Manager will motivate and coach team members, assess individual performance, and keep management updated on team progress. This includes supervising, evaluating, and reporting on sales team efforts semi-annually and annually. The role also involves ensuring operational efficiencies and making decisions that contribute to the BU's profitability.

Customer and Business Development Focus

This role emphasizes building strong customer relationships and driving business growth. Responsibilities include overseeing the development of complete customer accounts, setting clear goals, and monitoring activities with action plans. The manager will ensure the team maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities, utilizing provided software to maximize territory potential.

Additional Responsibilities

The Area Sales Manager may be assigned other job-related projects or tasks by their direct supervisor/manager as specific circumstances arise.
