Artificial Intelligence Engineer

About the Role

Elbetron is seeking an Artificial Intelligence Engineer to join their team in Al Khobar, Eastern Province. This full-time role focuses on the development and enhancement of production-oriented AI solutions, including AI assistants, RAG systems, NLP, AI analytics, and intelligent automation.

Role Overview

The Artificial Intelligence Engineer will be responsible for the full lifecycle of AI/ML solution development and integration. This includes working with various AI models and tools to build robust features for enterprise applications, ensuring their performance, security, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate AI/ML solutions into existing systems.
• Work with Large Language Models (LLMs) and various AI APIs or local models.
• Build and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.
• Develop prompt engineering strategies and structured-output workflows.
• Utilize embeddings, vector databases, and retrieval systems effectively.
• Integrate AI models with backend applications to enhance functionality.
• Develop new AI features for enterprise-level applications.
• Evaluate the performance and accuracy of developed AI models.
• Address AI security concerns, improve reliability, and reduce model hallucination.
• Collaborate with frontend, backend, and product development teams.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python programming.
• Understanding of machine learning principles and Natural Language Processing (NLP).
• Experience with LLMs and RAG systems is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of APIs, databases, and backend systems.
• Familiarity with Git version control and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with local or open-source LLMs is considered a plus.
• Understanding of Docker is an advantage.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Al Khobar, where the successful candidate will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver advanced AI solutions.
