Business Technology Manager

About the Role

Tamimi Commercial is seeking a Business Technology Manager to lead technology-enabled business transformation initiatives. This full-time role, based in Al Khobar, Eastern region, focuses on enhancing operational efficiency, productivity, profitability, customer experience, and organizational agility across the company. The manager acts as a strategic link between business functions and technology teams, translating business priorities into scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, prioritize, and lead technology-enabled business transformation initiatives.
• Translate business priorities and operational challenges into practical solutions across various technology domains.
• Lead the development and execution of the Company's Business Technology Roadmap.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation.
• Develop business cases for technology investments.
• Lead approved initiatives from concept through implementation, adoption, and benefits realization.
• Collaborate with the CEO, business leaders, Information Technology, Finance, and other stakeholders to align technology investments with strategic objectives and business value.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Business Analytics, or a related discipline. An MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification in Digital Transformation, Technology Management, Business Administration, or Business Analytics is preferred.
• Professional Experience: 7–12 years of relevant experience for Bachelor's degree holders, or 5–10 years for Master's degree holders. Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience in Business Technology, Digital Transformation, Business Systems, Process Automation, Business Analysis, or technology-enabled business improvement.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional technology and business transformation initiatives from assessment to benefits realization.
• Experience working with senior management and business stakeholders to translate needs into technology solutions.
• Experience in evaluating and implementing business applications, automation, analytics, AI solutions, and digital platforms.
• Experience in developing business cases, ROI analysis, technology roadmaps, and transformation plans.
• Experience managing technology vendors, implementation partners, and external consultants.

Technical and Business Skills

• Strong understanding of business process analysis, redesign, and continuous improvement.
• Strong understanding of digital transformation and business technology strategy.
• Practical knowledge of ERP, CRM, Business Intelligence, workflow, and business application platforms.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, automation tools, and data analytics.
• Good understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, AI Agents, predictive analytics, and intelligent automation, including identifying practical business use cases.
• Understanding of system integration, APIs, cloud technologies, and information security principles.
• Ability to evaluate technology solutions based on business value, scalability, usability, cost, risk, and implementation feasibility.
• Strong understanding of project management, change management, and user adoption.
• Ability to translate business requirements into clear functional requirements, process designs, and solution specifications.
