Al-Ertifaa Company For Steel & Metals is seeking a Finance Manager to lead its financial operations. This full-time role, based in Al Khobar, Eastern, Saudi Arabia, requires 5-10 years of experience and involves overseeing financial integrity and strategic growth across multiple locations, including Al Jubail, Dammam, and Riyadh.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial close processes, ensuring compliance with Saudi accounting standards and IFRS.
  • Supervise accounting staff, review payment proposals, accruals, and aging reports, and reconcile vendor and supplier accounts within the ERP system across all divisions.
  • Manage daily cash operations, liquidity planning, banking relationships, short-term deposits, long-term investment portfolios, and credit facility management.
  • Prepare weekly cash flow reports and forecasts, conduct regular bank reconciliations, and optimize working capital allocation for operations across all locations.
  • Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and business planning cycle in collaboration with division heads, establishing budgeting policies, planning guidelines, and governance frameworks.
  • Monitor budget performance, prepare Budget vs. Actual analyses, and deliver variance reports to executive leadership.
  • Develop and maintain financial models supporting strategic planning, investment decisions, and long-term business growth.
  • Drive the monthly forecasting process, track financial performance against targets, and prepare comprehensive management reports with actionable insights for senior leadership.
  • Analyze financial trends and identify opportunities for operational efficiency and cost optimization across manufacturing and trading operations.
  • Ensure full compliance with Saudi regulations, including ZATCA e-invoicing requirements, Zakat, VAT, withholding tax, and other tax obligations.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
  • Prepare financial reports and presentations for executive management, stakeholders, and external parties.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, tax advisors, and government authorities.
  • Lead the implementation and optimization of financial modules within the ERP system.
  • Develop and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets, and develop investment planning frameworks and treasury policies aligned with corporate strategy.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including operations, procurement, and sales, to improve financial planning and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Provide financial guidance to division managers on pricing, cost management, and profitability analysis.
  • Mentor and develop accounting and finance team members through coaching, knowledge transfer, and structured professional development.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of proven experience in finance and accounting roles.
  • Demonstrated success in managing accounting and finance teams and developing talent.
  • Experience in the manufacturing or industrial sector is preferred.
  • Experience managing multi-location financial operations is an advantage.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate financial data into business insights.
  • Strong leadership presence with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High integrity, attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively in an SME environment, manage pressure, and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic setting.
