About the Role
Axis Communications is seeking a Key Account Manager – End Customer for a full-time, remote position based in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. This role is responsible for driving sales and developing business plans for designated end customer companies.
Role Responsibilities
The Key Account Manager will be tasked with achieving defined annual sales targets and closing projects within their assigned account list. A significant aspect of the role involves collaborating with various Axis departments, including Sales, Business Development, Marketing, Sales Engineers, and Post-sales Support, to ensure comprehensive customer relationship management. This includes developing and implementing business plans for both existing and new large end customers, and continuously evaluating performance against targets.
Key Account Management
In this position, you will manage sales targets, KPIs, and the development of assigned accounts. This involves creating business plans, mapping account complexities, and strategically managing relationships to deepen Axis's engagement across product and solution lines over the long term. You will identify and influence key stakeholders and ecosystem partners, coordinating activities across different company functions. Active participation in industry events, tradeshows, and congresses is expected to build brand awareness and identify new opportunities. All account information must be updated and maintained within Salesforce.
Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess proven sales experience and strong business acumen, developed through selling high-value solutions. The ability to take initiative, challenge existing practices, and suggest improvements is essential. Candidates must demonstrate an outstanding capacity to understand customer needs and develop tailored value propositions. Transparency, loyalty, and a commitment to teamwork within a collaborative organization are highly valued.
- A degree in Engineering and/or Business Administration.
- Over 10 years of sales experience in the region, specifically in National/Key Accounts for large end customers.
- Experience with indirect B2B sales.
- Strong knowledge of the oil and gas sector.
- Familiarity with network infrastructure is preferred.
- Experience in complex sales management within fast-paced environments.
- Strong account management and team-building skills.
- Proven ability to build strategic and trusted relationships at all levels.
- Strong communication (verbal, listening, written), presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of the physical or cyber security market is an advantage.
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
- Proficiency in forecasting and delivering results.
Work Environment and Travel
