The Role of Learning & Development Manager

The Learning & Development Manager will be responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of all learning and development initiatives throughout Al-Qadsiah Saudi Club. This role focuses on ensuring employees possess the necessary knowledge, skills, and competencies to perform effectively and support the club's strategic development goals. The manager will oversee various programs, including competency-based development, leadership training, coaching, mentoring, and individual development planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Club's Learning & Development strategy and approach.
• Formulate the annual development plan and associated budget.
• Identify learning priorities and development needs across the organization.
• Support the implementation of learning and development initiatives aligned with organizational requirements.
• Conduct skills and training needs analyses throughout the Club.
• Manage the annual training calendar and its budget.
• Coordinate and deliver learning and development programs.
• Monitor the effectiveness and completion rates of training activities.
• Develop and maintain competency frameworks and libraries.
• Coordinate competency assessments and development planning activities.
• Assist leaders and employees in identifying competency development needs.
• Ensure Individual Development Plans (IDPs) are created and maintained for employees.
• Support leaders and employees in identifying suitable development opportunities.
• Monitor the implementation and progress of individual development plans.
• Design and implement leadership development programs.
• Support leadership assessments and initiatives aimed at improving leadership effectiveness.
• Develop programs to strengthen leadership capability across the Club.
• Develop and coordinate coaching and mentoring initiatives.
• Support employees and leaders in growth and development activities.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
• Support the implementation of career paths and career ladders.
• Develop and coordinate high-potential development programs.
• Design development interventions to enhance employee growth.
• Design and implement induction and development programs for new employees.
• Coordinate learning activities with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts.
• Ensure effective delivery and continuous improvement of learning programs.
• Deliver training sessions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, Training, or related areas.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing learning and development programs.
• Experience in delivering learning programs.
• Experience conducting training needs analysis and competency-based development initiatives.
• Experience working with leaders and employees on development and capability-building activities.
