Role Overview

The Principal Designer operates with a high degree of autonomy, applying advanced engineering techniques to complex problems. This role involves representing the organization in conferences to resolve important questions and negotiate with key engineers and officials from other organizations, demonstrating significant technical leadership and decision-making capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to designers and less experienced engineers within the team.
• Serve as a primary consultant for associates and other stakeholders, with a high degree of reliance placed on scientific interpretations and advice.
• Manage measurable assets, including assigned staff and budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and project delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated ability to independently apply advanced engineering techniques and solve complex engineering problems.
• Proven capability to make informed decisions regarding engineering methods and practices.
