About DYNEX Arabia and the Role
DYNEX Arabia is seeking a highly skilled Project Control Manager to join our team for a significant Oil & Gas Pipeline Project, approved by Aramco. This full-time position is based in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, and is pivotal in ensuring project delivery within established parameters.
Role Purpose and Project Context
The Project Control Manager will be instrumental in driving project performance, applying expertise to manage risks, and ensuring effective communication across all project stakeholders. This role focuses on ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, directly impacting the success of operations in the dynamic oil and gas sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of project controls, including scheduling, cost management, and reporting to ensure projects meet established goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement project control strategies and methodologies to enhance project performance and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to gather and analyze data, providing insights to support informed decision-making and project adjustments.
- Utilize project management software and tools to monitor project progress, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions to address issues promptly.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and potential risks to project success.
- Lead project control meetings, fostering open communication among team members and ensuring that all concerns are addressed effectively.
- Conduct thorough analysis of project costs, budget forecasts, and financial performance to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Mentor and train junior project control staff, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and professional development within the team.
- Collaborate with other departments, including engineering and procurement, to ensure seamless integration of project controls into overall project execution.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher diploma.
- 12 to 15 years of experience in project controls, preferably within the oil and gas sector.
Compensation and Employment Type
This is a full-time position offering a competitive monthly salary ranging from $7,000 to $8,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
