This full-time position as a Project Lead Engineer xA is based in Al Khobar, Eastern Region, and reports directly to the Operations Manager. The role is integral to the SA-OPC Business Line within the Middle East region, focusing on engineering activities and project execution.

Role Context and Contribution

The Project Lead Engineer xA supports engineering activities and project execution by collaborating with key stakeholders, including Sales, Product Management, and Business Development teams. The primary objective is to deliver customer-focused solutions and achieve business objectives. This role involves designing and executing DCS engineering activities in service projects of medium to high complexity, adhering to standard work instructions, quality standards, and safety guidelines, while ensuring quality customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead medium to high complexity projects efficiently across all disciplines.
• Evaluate, select, and apply standard techniques and procedures for engineering assignments in projects.
• Assist in preparing proposals and presentations for service engineering projects and programs.
• Identify customer requirements, analyze and document as-is processes and interfaces, discover process gaps, and design to-be integrations in collaboration with business resources.
• Create work plans and cost estimates for the overall scope, ensuring quality deliverables on time and within targeted cost.
• Mentor and guide the team through various project aspects.
• Provide technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities.
• Collaborate with business and other IT teams to deliver solutions within established timelines.
• Assist with customer and technical issues, interacting with official contracts.
• Proactively identify suggestions for product, quality, and customer service improvement, discussing them with management for implementation.
• Interact with various stakeholders to understand customer demands and stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in process automation.
• Demonstrate understanding of the complete project life cycle, including project deliverables.
• Collaborate on project installation, commissioning, and site activities to clarify potential issues or provide solutions for engineering errors.

Required Experience

• Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience.
