About the Role
Eram Talent is seeking a dedicated Project Manager with a specialization in Logistics & Supply Chain to join our team in Al Khobar, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. This role is crucial for ensuring the successful delivery of projects, from small to large scale. The Project Manager will lead project implementation, collaborating with cross-functional teams and a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders. This position will leverage the department's full suite of tools and processes to oversee the design, deployment, and delivery of all assigned projects throughout their entire lifecycle, with a strong emphasis on achieving intended benefits and operational performance goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute projects under the guidance of the Senior Project Manager and the Project Delivery Lead Management to ensure timely, within-budget, and high-quality delivery aligned with predefined objectives.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules and budgets, continuously monitoring progress and proactively identifying and addressing issues, risks, and changes.
- Collaborate with the Director Project Delivery Lead Management to define project milestones, objectives, and deliverables, establishing a robust framework for monitoring and reporting project performance.
- Work with project team members to identify and implement improvement strategies that enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness, while mitigating issues and risks.
- Liaise closely with various departments within the Centre of Excellence (COE) to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of project activities with overall business objectives.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration among project team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals, objectives, and the current status of all assigned projects.
- Implement and uphold rigorous quality assurance processes to ensure projects meet or exceed quality standards and customer expectations.
- Conduct regular project audits to verify adherence to established quality guidelines and identify areas for improvement.
- Identify potential project issues, risks, and changes, and collaborate within Project Delivery Teams to develop contingency and mitigation plans to proactively address challenges that may impact project delivery.
- Efficiently allocate and manage project resources, including personnel, budget, and equipment, to optimize project delivery and ensure efficient resource utilization.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, all project logs, and documentation of lessons learned, in line with organizational standards.
- Provide regular updates and reports on project status to the Director Project Delivery Lead Management, Chief Operational Excellence Officer, and relevant stakeholders.
- Recommend training and development interventions for team members to build their capabilities.
- Contribute to the identification of opportunities for the continuous improvement of systems, processes, and practices to increase productivity and operational efficiency.
- Implement all relevant Department's policies, processes, procedures, and instructions to ensure work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
- Contribute to the preparation of timely and accurate reports to meet departmental requirements, policies, and standards.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized and accredited university is required.
- A Master's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized and accredited university is preferred.
- PMP or Prince2 certification is mandatory.
- Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written business English.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in project management or a related field, preferably within Supply Chain industries, encompassing planning, execution, delivery, and reporting.
- Proven experience in project management, including planning, execution, delivery, reporting, and effective communication.
- Experience working with leadership and senior stakeholders, and coordinating across internal cross-functional teams.
- Experience with at least one of the following project management methodologies: PMP-style project controls, Prince2, risk and change management, or structured reporting and governance.
- Broader experience across PMP-style project controls, Prince2, risk and change management, and structured reporting and governance is preferred.
- Experience in logistics and supply chain projects is preferred.
