About the Role

Rotana Hotels is seeking a Reservations Agent to join our team in Al Khobar, located in the Eastern region. This full-time position is open to professionals with 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field within the hospitality sector.

Role Purpose

The Reservations Agent is responsible for maintaining effective communication regarding all reservations. The primary objective is to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery for guests, contributing to overall guest satisfaction and the hotel's revenue operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and confirm guest room reservations received via phone, letter, or fax.
• Input all reservation details accurately into the computer system, recording pertinent information and addressing inquiries, complaints, and requests related to reservations.
• Stay informed about all current promotions within and around the hotel, following established procedures for processing room reservations, rates, confirmations, and information on hotel facilities.
• Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge, understand the rate structure, and apply effective rate management techniques.
• Maintain an organized filing system for all correspondence and compile reports as requested by the Reservations Manager or Supervisor.
• Promote and maintain positive public relations, actively working to maximize business opportunities.
• Ensure accurate room status is maintained and updated at all times.
• Answer all incoming calls according to Rotana standards, input information received by fax, and consistently monitor incoming e-mails.
• Organize visa requests for hotel guests in line with hotel policy and identify opportunities for up-selling services.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking a guest-focused professional with 2-5 years of experience in reservations or a similar customer service role within the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong ability to deliver high levels of customer service and provide effective solutions to guest needs.
