Edge Al Rabie - Riyadh is seeking a Reservations Agent to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position is suitable for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who are dedicated to delivering high standards of customer service and providing effective solutions to guests.

The Role of Reservations Agent

As a Reservations Agent, you will be responsible for maintaining effective communication across all reservation channels to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery. This role involves managing guest room bookings, addressing inquiries, and ensuring all reservation details are accurately processed and confirmed, contributing to a positive guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and confirm guest room reservations received via phone, letter, or fax.
  • Input all reservation details into the computer system, ensuring all pertinent information is recorded accurately.
  • Attend to inquiries, complaints, and requests regarding reservations promptly and professionally.
  • Remain updated on all promotions available within and around the hotel.
  • Follow established procedures for processing room reservations, managing rates, issuing confirmations, and detailing hotel facilities.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge, understand the rate structure, and apply effective rate management techniques.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for all correspondence and collate reports as required by the Reservations Manager or Supervisor.
  • Promote and maintain positive public relations while actively seeking opportunities to maximize business.
  • Ensure accurate room status is maintained and updated at all times.
  • Answer all incoming calls in accordance with Rotana standards, input information received by fax, and consistently monitor incoming emails.
  • Organize visa requests for hotel guests as per hotel policy and identify opportunities for up-selling.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 0-1 years of experience in a reservations or customer service-oriented role.
  • A guest-focused approach with a commitment to service delivery.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and provide clear solutions to guest needs.
