This full-time role for a Senior Technical Sales Engineer Oil & Gas is based in Al Khobar, Eastern region, and requires 2-5 years of experience.

Purpose of the Function

The primary purpose of this role is to support sales growth within the Oil & Gas sector. This involves providing technically sound safety solutions, engaging with clients throughout the sales cycle, and ensuring that customer needs are aligned with Dräger's product offerings. The position combines technical expertise with commercial skills to enhance customer satisfaction and facilitate successful project acquisition.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with Oil & Gas clients to understand their safety requirements and propose appropriate solutions.
• Prepare and submit quotations, technical proposals, and compliance documents.
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and basic site evaluations.
• Follow up on leads, quotations, and tenders to ensure timely response and conversion.
• Collaborate with internal teams (product, service, application) to tailor solutions and pricing.
• Maintain CRM records for sales activities, customer interactions, and forecasts.
• Assist in tender submissions and documentation required for prequalification.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular engagement and support.

Additional Duties

• Support external sales managers during client visits, trade shows, and technical workshops.
• Provide technical input for marketing materials or sector campaigns.
• Conduct product training for clients and internal teams as needed.
• Monitor competitor activities and provide market intelligence updates.

• Gas Detection: Portable and fixed gas detection systems, controllers, wireless systems, and sampling tubes.
