About the Role

مدارس المجموعة العالمية (ISG) is seeking a Substitute Teacher to join its teaching team. This contract position is based in the Eastern region, specifically in Al Khobar and Dhahran. The Substitute Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and holistic learning experiences to students.

Role Overview

The Substitute Teacher will play a key role within a diverse and compassionate teaching team. This position involves developing a stimulating learning environment with continuous provision both inside and outside the classroom, ensuring a consistent and effective educational experience for students.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a commitment to the safety and security of children and young people (child protection).
• Deliver lessons to students as outlined in lesson plans developed by regular teachers.
• Motivate students to learn and participate in the classroom during lessons.
• Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
• Attend staff meetings if required.
• Supervise students outside classrooms if required.
• Coordinate with the SVC substitute teacher coordinator for SVC classroom expectations.
• Coordinate with the SVC substitute teacher coordinator for the SVC emergency protocol.
• Maintain a safe learning environment for students and staff at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal and/or the Assistant Principals.

Work Environment

This is a contract position within a supportive teaching environment. The role requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to various classroom settings and student needs. The Substitute Teacher will work closely with the substitute teacher coordinator and school leadership to ensure effective educational delivery.

Compensation

Compensation for this role is on a substitute basis.
