About the Role

Refad is seeking a Technical Architect Engineer for a full-time position based in Al Khobar, Eastern region. This role is central to leading architectural design, coordination, and supervision activities across various projects. The successful candidate will ensure the seamless integration of architectural systems with structural, MEP, and other engineering disciplines.

Role Context and Focus

The position places a strong emphasis on architectural design review and site supervision. This includes specialized focus on curtain wall and façade systems, interior finishing works, and material selection. A core requirement for this role is extensive experience in Revit-based design management, crucial for delivering high-quality, well-coordinated, and constructible designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and coordinate architectural designs with all engineering disciplines, including structural and MEP.
• Develop and review curtain wall and façade system designs, including shop drawing validation.
• Supervise finishing works and material selection to ensure alignment with project specifications and aesthetic requirements.
• Manage design development using Revit and ensure comprehensive BIM model coordination.
• Provide support to the site supervision team through design clarification and technical advice.
• Ensure all design work adheres to project schedules and established company standards.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in architectural design, coordination, and site supervision. Extensive experience in Revit-based design management is essential, demonstrating the ability to produce high-quality, coordinated, and constructible designs.

Collaboration and Stakeholders

This position requires close collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders. Internally, the Technical Architect Engineer will work with the design team, structural and MEP departments, project management, procurement, and site supervision teams. External interactions will include consultants, contractors, façade system suppliers, and material vendors.
