Role Overview

Halliburton is seeking a Shop Leader for a full-time position in Al Qatif and Al Khobar. This role involves coordinating maintenance and repair activities for down-hole and surface equipment, ensuring operational efficiency and safety. The Shop Leader will also provide guidance and training to less experienced personnel.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities related to maintaining and repairing down-hole and surface equipment under general supervision.
• Promote service excellence and customer satisfaction.
• Provide guidance and training to less experienced maintenance personnel.
• Assign work to subordinate personnel and schedule equipment for daily servicing and maintenance.
• Ensure the successful execution of maintenance processes in a safe and efficient manner.
• Diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on conventional tools, down-hole tools, and other production equipment.
• Lead the assembly and disassembly of surface and down-hole tools.
• Assist in evaluating equipment and recommending improvements based on maintenance history.
• Train and assist tool technicians.
• Promote safety awareness and environmental consciousness, ensuring compliance with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations, including Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) guidelines.
• Actively participate in the quality improvement process.

Specialization Areas

Within Product Service Line (PSL) specific shop operations, areas of specialization may include mechanical work, pressure testing, machine tool rebuilding, surface equipment maintenance, and performing major repairs.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate maintenance activities and lead a team.
• Strong understanding of safety and environmental regulations.

This full-time position is based in Al Qatif and Al Khobar.
