About the Role

Hyatt Place Al Ula is preparing for its opening, representing a significant expansion for Hyatt in the region. This new hotel will offer 215 guestrooms, two food and beverage outlets, meeting facilities, a swimming pool, and a fitness center, designed to accommodate both leisure and business travelers. We are seeking an experienced Security Manager to join our pre-opening team and contribute to the successful launch of Hyatt Place AlUla.

As the Security Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and overseeing all security operations to ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and the property. This role requires strong leadership, a proactive approach to risk management, and a commitment to upholding high standards of safety and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive security procedures and emergency response plans to protect the hotel and its occupants.
• Supervise, train, and manage the security team, including coordinating shifts and ensuring effective personnel deployment.
• Monitor surveillance systems and conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
• Respond to security incidents, conduct investigations into security issues, and prepare detailed reports.
• Liaise with local authorities and emergency services as needed to ensure coordinated responses.
• Ensure strict compliance with all relevant safety regulations and hotel policies.

Qualifications and Experience

• Previous experience in security management is required, with a preference for candidates experienced in the hospitality sector or managing security for large facilities.
• Demonstrated strong leadership capabilities and proven crisis management skills.
• Good knowledge of safety protocols and emergency procedures.
• Ability to remain calm and effective in stressful situations.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent reporting skills.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with excellent English proficiency.
• Physically fit and able to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as operational needs dictate.
• The role requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.
