About the Role

Riyad Bank is seeking a Relationship Manager to join its team in Arar, located in the Northern Frontier region. This full-time position focuses on driving sales and achieving profitability targets while maintaining a strong customer focus and business development in line with the bank's strategic plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement approved departmental policies, processes, and procedures, providing guidance to subordinates and monitoring adherence.
  • Oversee day-to-day branch operations to ensure compliance with established standards and procedures.
  • Ensure the branch's appearance aligns with Riyad Bank standards and coordinate with relevant departments as needed.
  • Contribute to local marketing campaign efforts.
  • Act as a second-level approver when required.
  • Foster a sales culture within the managed branch, develop sales plans aligned with targets, and guide branch staff in their implementation.
  • Allocate sales targets to branch staff and plan sales activities to ensure target achievement.
  • Drive cross-selling initiatives, ensuring branch staff capitalize on sales opportunities and communicate them to Sales Management and other relevant parties.
  • Consolidate and review lead generation, sales targets, and incentives at the branch level, communicating findings to the Area Manager.
  • Execute segment value propositions and ensure the consistent delivery of customer services and experience within the branch.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with existing and new customers to address their banking needs and promote additional bank products and services.
  • Proactively engage with key customers to strengthen relationships, gather feedback, and initiate appropriate actions.
  • Promote bank products effectively through branch displays, literature, and direct customer interaction to enhance customer awareness and project a professional image.
  • Ensure all staff have clear objectives, receive regular performance feedback, undergo formal annual appraisals, and have individual development plans, with a focus on developing talented Saudi national staff.
  • Manage branch staffing levels and ensure compliance with administrative and service guidelines.
  • Facilitate the employment, training, and development of Saudi nationals within the organization.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business, with a specialization in Finance or Accounting preferred.
  • 6-8 years of relevant banking experience, including at least 2 years in progressively responsible managerial roles.

Language Proficiency

  • Arabic: Proficient
  • English: Advanced
