About the Role

Riyad Bank is seeking a Relationship Manager for its Corporate Banking division in Riyadh. This full-time position requires an experienced professional to manage and grow relationships with corporate clients.

Role Overview

The primary objective of this role is to build, manage, and maintain strong relationships with corporate banking customers. This involves proactively selling and cross-selling Riyad Bank's products and services, and providing tailored solutions to meet client needs. The role is crucial for achieving sales targets while ensuring the maintenance of high credit quality within the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all departmental policies, processes, and standard operating procedures to ensure consistent and controlled work execution.
  • Manage day-to-day operations to ensure continuity of work.
  • Cultivate relationships with financial services clients through visits to existing customers and potential prospects.
  • Develop a deep understanding of client organizations, industries, and global practices to effectively meet their banking needs and expectations.
  • Identify revenue opportunities by actively selling Corporate Banking products to support sales targets.
  • Maximize product penetration and cross-selling, and actively seek structured finance opportunities to deliver required services effectively.
  • Develop consistent and timely account plans to follow up on identified action items.
  • Provide input and demand insights to the team for commercially viable loans that meet market demand.
  • Review and approve Credit Applications (CAs) within authority levels to ensure quality and completeness before submission for Credit Review.
  • Collaborate with the Credit Analytics Unit and Risk Management to continuously secure and enhance the quality of the credit portfolio.
  • Contribute to process and practice improvement initiatives, considering international best practices, business process enhancement, cost reduction, and productivity improvement.
  • Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate reports to meet company and department requirements.
  • Comply with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies and controls.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, preferably with a specialization in Finance or Accounting.
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in the banking sector.

Required Technical Knowledge

  • Proficiency in Corporate Banking products and services.
  • Knowledge of client relationship planning.
  • Demonstrated ability in business development and planning.
