Accounting Supervisor

About the Role

SRG is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to join our team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time position involves overseeing various financial transactions and ensuring compliance with established policies. The role requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience in accounting supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise petty cash transactions, including fund replenishments and the settlement of employee and project advances.
• Review expense claims, invoices, and supporting documents to ensure adherence to approved policies and authorization limits.
• Ensure accurate account, project, and VAT coding for all expenses.
• Monitor custodian balances, follow up on overdue settlements, and resolve any discrepancies.
• Reconcile petty cash and advance records with the General Ledger and coordinate cash counts.
• Complete month-end closing activities and prepare reports on outstanding advances and project expenses.
• Supervise team output and maintain complete records, segregation of duties, and an effective audit trail.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in an accounting or financial supervision role.
• Demonstrated ability to manage financial transactions and ensure compliance.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in reviewing financial documents and ensuring accuracy.
• Ability to reconcile accounts and manage ledger entries effectively.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for record maintenance and audit trails.
• Effective communication and coordination skills for internal and external stakeholders.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, within the Eastern Region. The role involves working within a team to ensure financial operations are managed efficiently and accurately.
