The Role of Credit Controller

We are seeking a dedicated Credit Controller to join our finance department. This full-time position is based in Dammam and is central to managing the company's credit risk and ensuring the efficient collection of receivables. The Credit Controller will be responsible for maintaining healthy cash flow, adhering to credit policies, and fostering strong financial relationships with our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage customer credit limits and overall credit exposure.
• Review customer creditworthiness and recommend appropriate credit terms.
• Approve or block supply orders based on established customer credit limits.
• Proactively follow up on outstanding receivables to ensure timely collection of payments.
• Reconcile customer accounts accurately and resolve any billing disputes efficiently.
• Prepare comprehensive aging reports, collection forecasts, and various management reports for review.
• Coordinate closely with the Sales, Operations, and Project teams regarding customer accounts and payment statuses.
• Review contracts and payment terms, particularly for contracting and industrial customers.
• Handle and monitor letters of credit, bank guarantees, and other trade finance transactions.
• Liaise with the legal department as necessary for managing legal cases related to collections.

Experience Required

Candidates applying for the Credit Controller position should possess 0-1 years of experience in a relevant financial or credit management role.
