About the Role

Global Projects Services is seeking an Engineering Watch Rating to join our team in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is designed for professionals with 0-1 years of experience who are prepared to contribute to marine engineering operations.

Role Purpose and Context

The primary purpose of this role is to contribute to maintaining a safe engineering watch within a manned engine-room or to perform essential duties in a periodically unmanned engine-room. The Engineering Watch Rating will execute marine engineering functions at a support level, in compliance with the standards outlined in regulation III/4 and/or III/5.

Key Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Engineer on watch and execute assigned work tasks within the scope of responsibilities and qualifications.
• Assist actively with engine room operations and watch keeping duties.
• Carry out maintenance tasks as directed, ensuring adherence to STCW regulation guidelines.

Required Experience and Skills

Candidates for the Engineering Watch Rating position should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience. A fundamental understanding and capability to perform marine engineering functions at a support level, as specified in regulation III/4 and/or III/5, is required. A strong commitment to maintaining safe working practices in all operational environments is essential.

Compensation and Development
