About the Opportunity

Nahdi Medical Co. is seeking an ER General Physician to join their medical team in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is open to professionals with 0-1 years of experience, offering a vital role in providing immediate patient care within the emergency room setting.

Role Purpose

The ER General Physician is primarily responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of minor illnesses and injuries. This involves conducting thorough patient examinations, taking detailed medical histories, and prescribing appropriate medications. The role also includes ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests to ensure accurate patient management, as well as counseling patients on diet, hygiene, and preventive healthcare related to their individual cases. Complex cases requiring further investigation will be referred to specialists, including through video consultations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients and accurately document findings.
• Design and execute individualized patient care plans.
• Educate patients on their health condition, required investigations, treatment options, and proper medication use.
• Provide patient education on health promotion and disease prevention strategies.
• Order and review the results of patients’ investigations.
• Prescribe medications as necessary for patient treatment.
• Perform additional tasks based on specialty and clinical privileges.
• Administer vaccinations when applicable.
• Refer cases to appropriate clinic specialties when applicable.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 0-1 years of experience in general medicine, demonstrating foundational knowledge and practical skills in a clinical or emergency setting.

Work Environment

This position operates entirely indoors. The work schedule is 6 days per week, with 1 day off. Daily working hours are 8 net hours, following a shift schedule approved by the head of department.
