About the ER General Physician Role

Nahdi Medical Co. is seeking a full-time ER General Physician to join its medical team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is designed for professionals with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of minor illnesses and injuries within an emergency room setting.

Core Responsibilities

The ER General Physician will be responsible for providing direct patient care and managing emergency cases, including:

• Diagnosing and treating minor cases of illnesses.
• Examining patients and taking comprehensive medical histories.
• Prescribing appropriate medications for patients.
• Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
• Assessing patients and accurately documenting findings.
• Designing and executing individualized patient care plans.
• Ordering and reviewing results of patients’ investigations.
• Performing additional tasks based on specialty and clinical privileges.
• Administering vaccinations if applicable.
• Referring cases to clinic specialties when applicable.
• Referring any cases needing more investigation to specialists or for video consultation.

Patient Education and Guidance

A crucial part of this role involves empowering patients through education and guidance:

• Counseling patients on diet, hygiene, and preventive healthcare whenever it is related to their individual cases.
• Educating patients on their health condition, required investigations, treatment options, and medication use.
• Educating patients on health promotion and disease prevention.

Work Environment and Schedule

This position operates entirely indoors (100%). The work schedule consists of 6 working days per week with 1 day off. Daily working hours are 8 net hours, structured according to a shift schedule approved by the head of the department.

Qualifications and Requirements

Candidates for the ER General Physician role must meet the following requirement:

• Possession of a valid SCHS license.
