Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Events Coordinator to join our team in Dammam, Eastern region. This full-time position is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who are committed to ensuring the seamless execution of banquet events and delivering exceptional guest service. The Events Coordinator is integral to maintaining high standards of event delivery and guest satisfaction.

Core Event Coordination Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-function meetings with group coordinators or hostesses to introduce oneself and confirm all event arrangements are satisfactory.
• Review and analyze banquet event orders to gather essential guest information, determine proper setup, establish timelines, identify specific guest needs, and plan for buffets and action stations.
• Address and fulfill any special banquet event arrangements, ensuring thorough follow-up to confirm compliance with requests.

Operational Adherence and Asset Protection

• Adhere strictly to all company and safety/security policies and procedures.
• Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe work conditions to management promptly and complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Ensure personal appearance and uniform are consistently clean and professional.
• Maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information and actively protect company assets.
• Ensure consistent adherence to established quality expectations and standards across all tasks.
• Perform additional reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Guest Experience and Team Collaboration

• Welcome and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards, proactively anticipating and addressing their service needs.
• Express genuine appreciation to guests for their patronage.
• Communicate with colleagues and guests using clear, professional language, and answer telephones with appropriate etiquette.

Physical Demands of the Role

• Perform physical tasks including standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods or throughout an entire work shift.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
• Navigate through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, and over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, which includes bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Read and visually verify information presented in various formats, including small print.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify any defects or issues.

Required Experience and Attributes
