Field Services Manager

About the Role

GE Vernova is seeking a Field Services Manager to join their team in Dammam, Eastern region. This full-time role involves overseeing all resources and logistics required for service and maintenance activities at customer sites. The manager will contribute to maintaining, repairing, and refurbishing sold or existing products, encompassing both preventive and corrective maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all on-site life extensions, repairs, and inspection-related service activities for installed fleets.
• Supervise the construction and commissioning of new and existing equipment at customer sites.
• Oversee specialized on-site activities including machining, non-destructive testing, blades, windings, critical welds, and generator diagnostics.
• Make engineering decisions and provide informal guidance to new team members.
• Manage maintenance facilities and field technical services, influencing departmental operations.
• Plan and/or execute activities within an operational discipline, adhering to standard functional practices and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• Graduate engineer with 5-10 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline.
• Proven ability to build on previous experience and acquired technical expertise to implement policy/strategy.
• Strong understanding of key operational factors and how their team's work integrates with other teams.
