Finance Manager

About the Role

A Prominent Regional Corporate Firm in the Oil & Gas sector is seeking a Finance Manager for a permanent role based in Dammam, Eastern region. This position is responsible for the overall financial management of the Joint Venture (JV), ensuring robust financial controls, accurate reporting, and effective budgeting. The Finance Manager will act as a strategic business partner to the Plant Operations Head and leadership team, providing financial insights to support operational efficiency and sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting and forecasting activities, developing long-term financial plans aligned with business objectives.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accurate and timely management reporting and presenting results to management and JV stakeholders.
• Oversee product costing, manufacturing cost analysis, and manage inventory valuation and work-in-progress accounting.
• Monitor cash flow requirements, manage receivables, payables, and working capital, and optimize inventory investments.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, corporate policies, and regulatory requirements, developing and maintaining robust internal control systems.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely closure of observations and managing VAT and other regulatory compliance.
• Ensure the integrity and effectiveness of financial systems, supporting ERP implementation and optimization initiatives.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, HR, and Sales teams, supporting capital investment decisions and evaluating the financial feasibility of new projects.
• Comply with all company Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) requirements and support company sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, with strong experience in manufacturing finance.
• Demonstrated experience in inventory valuation, project costing, and ERP systems.
• Proficiency in financial planning within industrial or Oil & Gas manufacturing environments.
• Proven ability to provide financial insights that support operational efficiency, profitability, and working capital optimization.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong analytical skills for business profitability and operational performance analysis.
• Ability to drive cost optimization initiatives and improve cash conversion cycle performance.
• Proficiency in developing and maintaining robust internal control systems and monitoring financial risks.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for reporting financial results to management and stakeholders.
