About the Opportunity

Matar Al-Baqami Holding is seeking a Fleet & Transportation Supervisor to join their team in Dammam, Eastern Province. This full-time role involves overseeing the daily operations of the company's fleet and transportation activities, ensuring efficiency and compliance.

Role Purpose

The primary objective of the Fleet & Transportation Supervisor is to ensure the efficient utilization of vehicles and drivers, maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements, and guarantee timely vehicle maintenance. This position is crucial for supporting smooth logistics operations, enhancing safety standards, and optimizing costs while providing reliable transportation services for the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the preparation and movement of vehicles and drivers.
• Monitor vehicle inspections and ensure compliance with established standards.
• Maintain accurate records and comprehensive data tracking of vehicle movements and locations.
• Coordinate with workshops to ensure all required vehicle maintenance is completed promptly.
• Manage and direct service drivers, optimizing their routes and schedules.
• Oversee all operations related to truck movements and goods transportation.
• Supervise internal maintenance activities, including periodic servicing such as oil changes, replacement of consumable spare parts, and other scheduled tasks.
• Monitor and ensure the timely renewal of vehicle registration licenses with the Traffic Department.
• Follow up on the renewal of vehicle operation licenses with the Ministry of Transport.
• Handle and finalize all procedures related to transportation accidents.
• Supervise vehicle systems and platforms, including vehicle tracking systems, the TAMM platform, and the Transport Authority platform.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in fleet or transportation management.
• Good knowledge of traffic regulations and Transport Authority procedures.

Required Skills

• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple operations simultaneously.
• Proficiency in reporting and data tracking.
• Effective communication skills.
