About the Role

A Manufacturing Plant in KSA is seeking a General Manager Sales to lead its sales operations in Dammam. This full-time role involves developing and executing the company's sales strategy across various market sectors to achieve yearly targets, maximize margins, and meet objectives. The General Manager Sales will be responsible for leading and supervising the sales team, as well as managing key accounts.

Strategic Sales Development

• Develop and achieve sales targets within various market sectors.
• Build a comprehensive understanding of client and market requirements in alignment with company objectives.
• Increase market share and identify opportunities to exploit new markets.
• Develop new key accounts across different market sectors.

Key Account Management and Customer Relations

• Maintain and develop relationships with existing key accounts.
• Refine and improve the quality of customer interaction, satisfaction, and retention by enhancing service standards and technical support.

Sales Operations and Performance Management

• Review and update sales achievements against budgets on a monthly basis.
• Ensure all quotations and tenders are submitted accurately and on time with necessary documentation.
• Negotiate, control, and award projects to align with set targets.
• Liaise with the Credit Controller to ensure timely receipt of all account payments.

Team Leadership and Talent Development

• Motivate and lead a high-performance sales team by attracting, recruiting, and retaining required team members.
• Enhance the work environment to promote employee engagement and team effectiveness.
• Conduct annual performance appraisals and provide staff feedback on strengths, areas for improvement, and development opportunities.
• Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for individual units, ensuring alignment with the company's mission and vision.
• Identify key positions and ensure succession plans are in place for target staff.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position must possess over 10 years of relevant experience in sales management, ideally within a manufacturing environment. A proven track record in developing sales strategies, achieving targets, and leading high-performing teams is essential for this role in Dammam.
