About the HSE Engineer Role

Al-Rashed Group is seeking an experienced HSE Engineer to join their team in Dammam. This full-time position involves supporting the implementation and monitoring of health, safety, and environmental programs across workplace and project sites. The role is crucial for ensuring compliance with company policies, Saudi regulations, and international HSE standards, while actively promoting a strong safety culture among all personnel.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and enhance HSE policies, procedures, and instructions to align with Saudi Labor Law and Civil Defense Requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify potential hazards and unsafe practices.
• Assist in the development and updating of risk assessments, method statements, and job safety analyses.
• Monitor adherence to HSE policies, procedures, and relevant local regulations, including Saudi labor and Civil Defense requirements.
• Support the investigation of incidents, accidents, and near-misses, contributing to the preparation of reports with corrective actions.
• Deliver toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness sessions for employees and contractors.
• Maintain comprehensive HSE records, including permits, training logs, and statistical reports.
• Ensure the proper use and availability of personal protective equipment (PPE) and firefighting/emergency equipment.
• Participate in emergency drills and support emergency response planning initiatives.
• Promote environmental practices, focusing on waste management and pollution control.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure the safe execution of work activities.
• Undertake all assigned tasks necessary for business continuity.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of HSE management systems and applicable local regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office and HSE reporting tools.

Essential Skills and Competencies

• Strong observation, reporting, and risk-assessment capabilities.
• Effective communication skills in both English and Arabic.
• Ability to work effectively on-site and respond to emergency situations.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dammam. The role requires the ability to work on-site and respond to emergencies as needed.
