IT Administrator

About the Role

Falcon Group of Companies is seeking a skilled and motivated IT Administrator to join their team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time role is essential for managing the company's IT infrastructure, providing technical support, maintaining network and system security, and ensuring the smooth operation of all IT systems. The ideal candidate will have 0-1 years of experience and possess strong technical knowledge across hardware, software, networking, and SQL databases, coupled with robust troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and IT peripherals.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
• Provide technical support to employees and resolve IT-related problems.
• Manage user accounts, access permissions, and IT systems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot company networks, routers, switches, and Wi-Fi connections.
• Ensure the security and integrity of company data and IT infrastructure.
• Implement and manage data backup and disaster recovery procedures.
• Manage and maintain SQL databases, perform basic SQL queries, and assist with database troubleshooting.
• Monitor database performance and support data backup and restoration activities.
• Maintain IT asset records, system documentation, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Train employees on the proper use of IT systems and software.
• Identify potential IT security risks and take appropriate preventive measures.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an IT Administrator or in a similar IT support role (0-1 years).
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and IT security.
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL and database management.
• Familiarity with SQL Server, MySQL, or other database systems.
• Knowledge of data backup, recovery, and network troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and user account management.
• Knowledge of Active Directory and network administration.
• Experience managing SQL databases and writing basic SQL queries.
• Ability to handle multiple IT support requests and prioritize tasks effectively.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, Eastern Region, within the Falcon Group of Companies. The role requires active participation in maintaining a robust and secure IT environment for the organization.
