Lead Product Service Engineer Controls Platform HMI & Network

About the Role

GE Vernova is seeking a Lead Product Service Engineer for Controls Platform HMI & Network to join their team in Dammam, Eastern region. This full-time role focuses on enhancing service technology by analyzing customer data and evaluating the reliability, availability, maintenance, security, and overall performance of engines and products. The position involves both planning and executing departmental operations, with a focus on professional activities within a technical discipline. The role offers autonomy, guided by established policies and a review of end results, allowing for adjustments in workflows and practices to meet quality, scope, and timeliness standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the installed base by resolving customer issues, addressing fleet problems, implementing service bulletins, and conducting monitoring and diagnosis.
• Manage fleet configuration, maintain fleet data, and oversee outage management.
• Utilize in-depth technical knowledge, analytical thinking, and technical experience to implement policies and strategies.
• Apply knowledge of best practices and understand how this area integrates with other functions, while also being aware of market competition and company differentiators.
• Exercise judgment to propose solutions outside established parameters for complex manufacturing processes with technical diversity and/or interdependent production cycles.
• Leverage technical experience and analytical thinking, drawing on multiple internal and limited external sources for decision-making.
• Serve as a resource for less experienced colleagues and potentially lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements.
• Communicate information effectively, develop skills to build consensus on issues, and handle confidential topics.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Advanced experience in a relevant field.
• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma combined with relevant experience.
• Between 5 to 10 years of experience in a related field.
